Flow Shield Nano was founded by Ruby Alhajar with a mission to revolutionize water testing technology for global access to safe drinking water. CWNT has created a platform technology to monitor water contaminants in the beverage and water industries.
Integrated Molecular Innovations was founded by Rourke Sylvain, Cameron West, and Ali Dabas with a goal to shift the healthcare paradigm from reactive diagnostics to proactive health management. Imi has developed cutting-edge biosensing technology that can monitor hormones and other analytes in sweat to empower athletes to optimize their workout routines.
BioMang was founded by Dr. Timothy Eisele with a mission to work toward sustainable recovery of industrially important metals. BioMang has created a novel technology to use metal-reducing bacteria for low-cost, environmentally sustainable recovery of manganese and other industrially important metals from waste streams.
Resurgent Innovations is a company on the leading edge of chemical recycling founded by Frank Blackman. The company is in the process of commercializing a new pyrolysis reactor design that aims to handle plastic waste by building a missing link in the circular economy of plastics.
O2 Innovate, a business unit of AIRS, was founded by Nate Yenor and Valerie Obenchain to address the lack of innovation in oxygen therapy for supplemental oxygen users. O2 Innovate has developed a medical device that integrates a higher flow oxygen concentrator and user monitoring to enable oxygen users to be mobile again.
AMMP Accelerator Observing Companies
The following companies were invited to observe and limited participation within the accelerator programming. They are invited to lectures, have access to all accelerator materials, but do not receive dedicated coaching and will not be presenting at Demo Day.
MycoNaut develops and innovates around bio-based technologies that improve human health and planetary health through fungi and other microbes.
Völundr Scientific Consulting specializes in delivering high quality technical services to clients across industry and academia. Our core proficiency lies in the production and analysis of alloys, utilizing integrated computational materials engineering (ICME) principles.
Community Open Doors Program
At AMMP we know that not all businesses will fit into our cohort, they fill be in different industries, later stage than we are looking for, or earlier stage than we specialize in. Those innovators and entrepreneurs or potential founders are still part of our community and a group that we also want to support. Our skilled staff are available to any member of the community during their weekly office hours, able to provide guidance and mentorship to help move an existing company along or guide in the creation of a company that can be in a future cohort.
In addition we are hosting speakers whose presentations will be open to the entire community. These speakers will be presenting on a variety of topics, critical to early-stage companies but chosen with an eye towards broad application to business owners and managers. This speaker series will be running for the length of the cohort and we will be inviting and encouraging all member of the community to attend.
Business owners have to be skilled in many aspects of running a business but cannot be the best lawyer, accountant, human resources professional, and marketer at the same time. We know our local entrepreneurs can benefit from experts in these technical fields so we’re providing access to the professionals that are going to be visiting the accelerator. These experts will be able to provide advice and guidance, working through concerns both strategic and tactical. With the assistance from our staff and the experts we’re bringing in, every business in the area will be able to benefit from our programming.
